CRAVING CRAZY FOR TACOS!!!  I used to go Tacofino Food Truck a lot when we lived in DT before, their tacos were so fresh and delicious.  We decided to go Tacofino Commissary for Sunday lunch.  It was very busy in the Sunday afternoon so I think it's good to get here early to beat the rush!  LOL.

We came to Torafuku for a quick Happy Hour while waiting for the dinner time.  It was my first time visit, the decor is hip and trendy style with long tables and the open kitchen.

Fratelli, a famous Italian Bakery on Commercial Drive.  We came here to buy some sweets to go before heading to our friend's home for barbecue.  I was melted when I walked inside the shop, because the sweet scent of puff pastry cake and tarts smell so good!
 And my eyes cannot leave the display shelves, with great selections of cakes and pastries.  It was very difficult to make decision there.  Indeed, they were so fresh and delicious!  The sweetness was quite mild.  Price range was fair and great attentive service.  MUST EAT!

Anh and Chi was previously Pho Hoang on Main Street, revamped head to toe after the second generation took over.  Not only the menu, they have transformed the restaurant into a modern and vibrant Vietnamese Cuisine successfully.  Food was pretty good and well presented, we could see all the delicate decor and details they have input into the restaurant from the table setting, motorbike in the center of the restaurant to the fancy rose gold bathrooms.  
Price wise it was above the average, but you do get what you pay for when the owners bring the restaurant into a higher level.

I have heard a lot of good reviews about Hoi An so we finally decided to come on a  Saturday night.  Hoi An Café is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant located on Victoria Street, across from Tengs grocery market.  It is a small causal cafe, very clean and tidy with great services.  The dishes did not disappointed us, amazingly good!

Great time at Absinthe Bistro!!!  This little Bistro totally worth the hype.  Absinthe Bistro is a lovely little Bistro on Commercial drive, specialized in blends of classic and French cuisine.  I love this little place,  just like a small cafe we were in Europe.  I love die the interior décor with the casual atmosphere.   We had the window seat which was perfect for the evening.  The price is very reasonable at this excellent food quality, wonderful and attentive service.  Dishes were well prepared and presented.  I fall in love with this little authentic Parisian Bistro.

 Blowfish is a small Japanese restaurant near PNE on East Hastings.   We were wandering and looking for dinner place after I picked up Hubby from work.  Hubby wanted to eat something light and not oily; therefore, we decided to look for sushi place near the area by Zomato.  We searched and found Blowfish with pretty high rating so we decided to give it a try.  Blowfish is a small Japanese restaurant near PNE area.  From the raving reviews, Blowfish is a sushi joint offering different kinds of delicious rolls at a very good economy price range.  However, all tables were emptied when we walked in at 8ish.  Hm... turned out we saw lots of people came in to pick up their sushi orders. LOL.

Au Petit Café is a small and causal Vietnamese café besides Long's Noodle House on Main street.  Long wait is expected during weekend peak hours.  The wait ended up taking a while.  There were a lot of people waiting outside and we could not tell they were awaiting for Long's or Au petit Café!  I just realize that I forgot to take a snapshot of my no. 1 house special Banh Mi (Vietnam Sandwich).  Probably I was too hungry after the long wait.  It was so fresh and delicious!!!  At last, it is highly recommended to go Au petit Café for Vietnamese sub sandwich where you can get the best in town!  You can't go wrong!!!
MUST EAT:  BANH MI DAC BIET

We had dinner at Penang Delight last month and we saw a little Japanese café right next door in Marpole.  Finally we decided to make a trip to try out Café de l'Orangerie with my best girl and her family on a Saturday night.  I heard that lots of people like this place! 
Must Eat:  Hamburger Steak, Sesame & Miso Sauce Tuna Sashimi

It was totally different and distinctive from Tim Hortons.  I did not visit Lucky's Doughnuts in person.  My husband drove to Lucky to get the doughnuts by himself before lunch at Stanley Park.  Therefore, no exterior and interior photos of the café this time. 
Lucky's handcrafted doughnuts are made fresh daily and features local and seasonal ingredients.
