604 Just Eat: French X Asian Cuisine @ PiDGin

Jan 16th, 2016

PiDGin @ Gastown

Food:  4/5   Service:  3.5/5   Atmosphere:  4/5   Price:  Avg. 70$/person

Tastiest time of Vancouver - Dine Out Vancouver!  We picked a few places for Dine out Vancouver and PiDGin was my favorite among all.  No wonder why the high rating of this restaurant and the Dine out menu did not disappoint us.  PiDgin is a cozy restaurant located at Gastown, French dishes with lots influences of Asian tastes.  I fall in love their craft cocktails, unique and amazingly delicious.  The Dine out menu was very interesting, it was served family style for sharing to try a selection of starters, main and desserts.  Portions were generous and perfect for a small group dinner.  Their dishes were very creative and outstanding.
Must Eat:  Grilled bread with Ramen Egg/  Vavette Steak/ Craft Cocktails

604 Just Eat: Desserts @ Le Petit Belge

Dec 29th, 2015

Le Petit Belge @ Downtown

Food:  3.5/5   Service:  3.5/5   Atmosphere:  3.5/5   Price:  Avg. $9/person

We woke up early because of crazy jet lag so we decided to head out for breakfast.  We were planning to go Gastown at first then we saw the waffles menu board of Le Petit Belge on Robson.  We end up decided to try some waffles for brekkie.  We have never been here before.  Le Petit Belge is a small cafe specialized in waffles (sweet and savory), baked sweets and of course coffee.  Dishes were in well presentation and looked so pretty!  My eyes keep checking the waffle dishes at other tables!  The portions of the toppings are big too.  LOL.

604 Just Eat: Malaysian Cuisine @ Kaya Malay Bistro

Jan 3rd, 2016

Kaya Malay Bistro @ Fairview

Food:  3/5   Service:  3.5/5   Atmosphere:  3.5/5   Price:  Avg. $33/person

I have never been to Kaya Malay Bistro before and I was quite excited after reading some good reviews about this restaurant.  The decor and layout are more like Western-style restaurants with dim lights.  We were invited to attend a company dinner and the set menu was ordered.  There were total 11 dishes in the menu.  The dishes were good overall but they were more like fusion style, combination of Malaysian and Asian food.
