Sawadeecup~~~Chai Thai is a little Thai restaurant on East Hastings street in North Burnaby. Food were absolutely amazing! Lots of flavors, very fresh herbs and spices making the dishes so good! You could taste all the spices, basil and tamarind. And they do not use MSG. Very complex to describe but this is so Thai. It tastes exactly as I had in Thailand. The green curry was so good here! We wanted to try some new dishes tonight so we did not order it this time; kinda regretting. LOL.

The fresh roll was definitely a good choice for Vegetarian. I love basil! Very interesting flavor and Delicious.
The skewered chicken was cooked perfectly. Great taste of coconut milk and Thai spices, the chicken was juicy and tender.
Glass noodle in thick stock seasoned with fermented tofu, braised Chinese cabbage, Chinese celery and water spinach.
I ordered the wrong bowl of noodles as I did not like the taste of fermented tofu. It was more like a Chinese soup noodles more than Thai.

Grilled pork slices than toasted lightly in lime juice, red onions, green onions, shredded mint, coriander, ground chili and pounded roasted rice.
The taste was very interesting; it was like a warm salad appy with refreshing lime and mint flavors followed by a slight spicy aftertaste .

Chad Thai is a hidden gem of Thai cuisine that you could have the local tastes of Thai street dishes in town! This is a family operating business, the owner is very polite and welcoming. You can't go wrong here! They have homemade coconut ice-cream here, I gotta try it when we revisit.
