Singapore Trip Day 3: Tea Time @ EAT. X Ya Kun Kaya Toast

We decided to have a bite before heading to Gardens by the Bay.  Food court was a good choice, stayed inside with air conditioned environment.

 

 

Laksa Meal Set, comes with Coffee or Tea.  Portion was quite small.

Fish cakes were not bad.  Cockles were not fresh enough. 
 



The broth was okay but do not expect flavor and quality like traditional stall at Food Center.  Not enough flavor and chili sauce.

Ya Kun Kaya Toast is a very famous chain store in Singapore as well as Asia.  We tried their popular kaya butter toast in order to make some comparison with other food stalls.

 

 Kaya Butter Toast

The toast was light and nicely toasted but not warm and fresh enough.  The kaya sauce was good, though there was not enough butter.
