Singapore Trip Day 3: Early Lunch @ Sungei Road Laksa [結霜橋叻沙]

Jan. 8th, 2015

Sungei Road Laksa [結霜橋叻沙] @ Jalan Berseh

Food:  4/5   Service:  3/5   Atmosphere:  3/5   Price:  1/5

Mission accomplished.  Totally satisfied my craving for a bowl of delicious Laksa!!!

This stall is managed by 2 ladies.  One of them was busy filling the bowls with ingredients while another one was busy taking orders.
I was so surprised that they are still using charcoal burner to cook Laksa.

Typical Katong Laksa.  They cut the thick rice noodles into bits so no need chopsticks  Only $2!!!

The flavorful broth was thick, sweet and mild spicy with the cockles and slices of fish cake.  The cockles were big and so fresh!!!  Mixed the chili sauce and green laksa leaves into the broth, heaven!  The noodles were cooked just about right. Tasted absolutely delicious with everything together!  The noodles soaked up all the goodness of the soup and I finished the whole bowl.
