Sugar n Ice Cakes @ Steveston
Food: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Price: Avg. $13 person
Since we moved back to the Steveston neighborhood, Steveston village becomes our favorite spot to chillax in weekend. I saw a new bakery shop called Sugar n Ice when we were trying to find a parking spot in the Saturday afternoon. I could not stop my feet walking there to check out this new bakery shop! The baked sweets were beautiful and delicate. Other than the pastries and coffees on the menu, they also offer make to order service like wedding and any other occasions.
They do not have many items in the shelves. Hubby picked the red velvet cake and the chocolate tart.
I love the decor, pretty!
We sat down the table outside the shop, nice view and comfortable.
We did not order macarons but there was one on top of the chocolate tart! The macaron was a bit too sweet for my liking. The chocolate tart was amazing! it was not too sweet but very rich chocolate flavors. The red velvet cake was just about right.

Price wise they were a lil expensive compared with my all time favorite "The Sweet Spot Bakery" but Sugar n Ice is still a good selection that you can sit down to enjoy your coffee and desserts other than the chained coffee shops in the neighborhood.
