Torafuku @ East Vancouver
Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Atmosphere: 3.5/5 Price: Avg. $19/person
We came to Torafuku for a quick Happy Hour while waiting for the dinner time. It was my first time visit, the decor is hip and trendy style with long tables and the open kitchen.
The menu is small but quite interesting, the sharing plates were creative flavors with lots of Asian elements into the dishes.

People's Cocktail @ $9 (Happy Hour Cocktail), original $11
My cocktail was fresh and delicious, great for summer time. My friends ordered Torafuku Old Fashioned and Tiger Style Caesar, also @ $9 Happy Hour Cocktail, tasted good too.
Rye So Messy Chicken Wings @ $10
Crowned 2015 chicken fight best dish, Rye and Korean chili marinate, mango, glaze, ramen crumble, kfc sauce
The wings was good, it was light and crispy with the just right amount of batter but the sauce flavors were too strong and spicy. I did not want to eat another one after the first piece, it would be better to have less sauce on the wings.
Calamari 2.0 @ $11
Crispy squid, English peas, corn, local mushrooms, market fruit, angry tiger sauce
Impressive! I like the calamari with the fruits but VERY small portion.
I enjoyed the chill vibe here, good place to hang out and HH with friends after work. Dishes were in creative flavors but the portions were very small for sharing. I probably would come back for Happy Hour, a cocktail with small snacks instead of dinner.
