CRAVING CRAZY FOR TACOS!!! I used to go Tacofino Food Truck a lot when we lived in DT before, their tacos were so fresh and delicious. We decided to go Tacofino Commissary for Sunday lunch. It was very busy in the Sunday afternoon so I think it's good to get here early to beat the rush! LOL.
Simple casual decor with the very interesting lighting on the ceiling and all the little details made the place very comfortable for quick bite. The tacos were simple and delicious, the ingredients were fresh and so matching flavors. Prices are reasonable.
Love it! So Delicious the fresh ginger flavor!
Left Hand: Sunday El Caesar @ $7
house made clamato, cilantro salt rim, habinero infused el jimador tequila blanco, smoked olives
Absolutely tasty! It was quite spicy to me but I liked it!
Two for $11 Tacos @ $11
Left Hand: Fish
crispy cod, cabbage, chipotle mayo, salsa fresca
I ordered Fish Taco, my all time favorite. It was soooo good! The fish batter was very light and crispy, the fried fish was moist and well seasoned. With the mayo, shredded cabbage, salsa and fresh lime together, simple and delicious.
Right Hand: Tuna
soy, sesame, wakame, ginger, wasabi mayo
It tasted like Tuna Tataki in taco style. I still like fried fish more.
Pork Jowl Taco @ $6
cabbage, pineapple, fried shallot, sriracha
Obviously 2 tacos were not enough LOL! First try the Pork Taco, interesting flavor! The pork was grilled perfectly and tasted like BBQ pork. Taste wise, the pork taco draws my attention more than the tuna taco.
Banana Churros @ $7
dulce de leche, ibarra chocolate sugar
Happy Sweet Tooth! Sweet ending lunch with the churros. SO fresh, crunchy and delish!
Food and drinks were fantastic and delicious! It is my favorite taco place, simple tacos but amazing taste. Great relaxing chill atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and superb. MUST EAT if you are a taco lover!
