Kintaro Ramen, one of the original ramen joints for authentic Japanese noodles on Deman Street at West End area.  Kintaro is my all time favorite!  Their quality standard has remained very stable all these years.  After trying all the new ramen joints arrival to Vancouver,   I still have to say Kintaro is still the best overall.  We came here around 8ish and so lucky that we got to sit down after only 5 minutes wait.

East is East, a famous Indian & Middle East restaurant located on Main Street.  It is one of the smoking HOT and BUSY restaurants in town.  We have not been to East is East a year already.  We came again because our good friend was in town for a very sudden short trip.  Luckily we were able to make a reservation on a Friday night.  We came here a group of 5.  They are well known for wide selections of dishes from Middle East with lots of vegan options so it was a great choice for our friend who is a vegetarian.  We chose to bring her here to enjoy the vegan dishes as well as the interesting décor and the live music performance.  Yahh!  Always get excited when good friends back to town and meet with us @ 604!   Our silk road started!

Felicos is an authentic Greek restaurant located on Leslie road in central Richmond.  We went there for dinner with a group of 9 to celebrate a friend's birthday.  I have not been here for ages so the décor and menu were new to me.  I was quite excited the wide selection of Greek and Mediterranean dishes on the menu.  It is a fine dine setting with pretty classy décor.  There was belly dancing performance during the dinner session, interesting!  Prices are on the high side too so my expectation was quite high.

We order some appetizers to share then entrées of our own choices.

We decided to go Chosun for Friday Lunch.  Chosun is specialized in Korean cuisine located on Kingsway nearby our office.  Our colleague strongly recommend us to go together for lunch.  This was my first visit and I was so looking forward to have a Bibimbap under a chill windy day of October.  The lunch combo specials was a great deal.  Other than Korean dishes and Korean BBQ, sushi and Japanese food were on the lunch combo menu too.  We ordered the lunch combo; came with the complimentary banchans and salad.

Maji is an authentic Taiwanese restaurant located on Alexandra road in central Richmond.  Heard Maji is always busy with long waiting time so our friend made reservation in advance for 4 of us.  We were there at 7; all tables were occupied  and there was line up already.  We waited about 10 minutes to be seated.  We came with high expectations because of the goods review.  Taiwanese cuisine is one of my favorites; the  distinctive flavors and basil! The dishes were tapas style here.  They have a specialty Taiwanese beer selection and surprisingly they did not have bubble teas on the menu.  Impressive!  LOL.
