Toku Japanese Restaurant [德日本料理] @ Lansdowne Mall

Toku Japanese Restaurant is located in Lansdowne Mall, décor is quite modern.
Prices on menu are on the high side so I had high expectation at the dinner!

Tokujyo - 8 kinds of Nigiri Sushi + 1 Rolled Sushi
Sashimi were quite fresh and tasty especially Uni and Saba.
Tako Wasa
Fresh, not bad.
Goma Tofu
Bland sesame sauce on Tofu, no special.
Chopped Scallop Cones
Huge cone with lots of chopped scallop. The seaweed became so soft and soggy in a very short time.
Spicy Salmon and Cream Cheese Sushi Roll
Very pricey fusion sushi roll with only 4 pieces, not worth it.
Robata - Yakitori and BBQ Beef Tongue
Disappointed. BBQ chicken had no flavor; no marinated ?!
BBQ Beef Tongue was tough and chewy.
Overall, sushi and fishes qualities were above average but I wouldn't go for Robata again. One more thing, they served the Robata after the appetizers while we were still working on the sushi plate. The skewers were cool down when we start eating.
