Kiriri Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar is an authentic Japanese restaurant located in the Blundell Plaza, décor is quite modern. Clean and comfortable.
One of my good friends and her husband were back in town for Easter holidays and obviously they were craving some real good sushi and authentic Japanese dishes in Vancouver. I picked Kiriri because of all the good reviews and I have been wanting to come for a long time too.
*After all, Sushi Hachi is still my No. 1 favorite place for authentic sushi.
Prices on menu are on the high side so I had very high expectation on the food. Limited items on the menu and food portion was relatively small. Food is good enough but definitely overpriced.

Fresh mirugai but taste-wise was so so.
Great Negitoro Roll @ $12
Looked like Chinese dim sum -"siu mai". Interesting presentation but taste was average. I preferred the traditional style with seaweed more.
Yuzu Shiromi @ $14
Thin Sliced White Fish with yuzu Chill Paste
Fresh and the sauce was interesting. A little bit spicy and refreshing.
Nigiri Sushi for Hubby and myself
Sashimi were fresh overall except Saba. The saba quality was below the standard. I expected more than that when price is on high side. The fish was in white color like cooked fish. The rice texture was so so.

Black Sesame Creme Brûlée
Creamy and delicious; nice presentation.
A lil bit disappointed. Overall the food quality was good and fresh but Kiriri is not the best when comparing with other premium sushi places.
I know this meal could not satisfy the craving of some real good sushi in town!
*After all, Sushi Hachi is still my No. 1 favorite place for authentic sushi.
