Kanpeki Teppanyaki Restaurant [松板日式鐵板料理] @ Richmond
Food: 2.5/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 2/5 Price: 3/5
Kanpeki Teppanyaki is located on Alexandra road in Richmond. We had a large group of 13 people so we were seated in the dining room and served by 2 chefs. A friend ordered a few meal sets of 4 or 6 for total 13 people. I did not know what we ordered until the chef came and began to prepare.
The meal started from a green salad. I forgot to take picture of it.
Chef was cooking the Foie Gras.
Foie Gras on Toast
Lack of the exquisite taste and smell of Foie Gras. It was still rich and buttery.
Lobster Miso Soup
Average. I expected the soup was richer and more flavorful.
Lobster Tails & Claws
You cannot go wrong with fresh seafood and butter so the taste was good but not impressive.
Beef Usuyaki
Fried garlic chips and green onions wrapped in thin slices of beef. The insides were crunchy and the beef was tender and moist.

Beef Cubes
Tender and quite juicy, not overcooked.
Slice of Tofu
Mixed Vegetables
Light seasoning, it was good.
Fried Rice
Overall, the food quality was satisfactory but nothing was extraordinary. Price is fair in terms of the food and portions. However, sanitary requires some room of improvement. When I walked to the washroom, the floor was a bit greasy and slippery which can happen something very bad. I probably will not come back until I hear some good improvements. #140-8351 Alexandra Road Richmond, BC V6X1C3
