Guu Garden @ Downtown
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Price: Avg. $24 person
Guu Garden is one of my favorite restaurants especially summer time. The patio is so lovely to sit out on a warm summer and you definitely cannot miss out the Kirin frozen beer here! The environment/table is less crowd compared with other Izakaya places.
MUST EAT: Saba Shima Sushi
MUST EAT: Saba Shima Sushi
deep-fried chicken knee cartilage w/ side salt & pepper
Crispy and well seasoned; not greasy at all. Good pair with beer.
sea salted grilled pork cheek w/ yuzu ponzu
Meat was tender and flavorful. The ponzu sauce was refreshing!
My no. 1 favorite pressed sushi at Guu Garden! It was so fresh and delicious as always!
Bang Bang G @ $6.80
chicken breast, onion, cucumber & jelly fish salad w/ sesame dressing
The mussels were cooked perfectly!
Food quality was good and stable overall! Most Izakaya places are relatively small and crowded. Guu Garden is a great option of Izakaya to go and chill the night out with big party; very causal and relaxing atmosphere. When summer is over, I will be back for ODEN time!
