Cats Socialhouse @ Granville Island
Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4.5/5 Price: Avg. $24 person
Burger night! I was craving for burger and fries so Hubby decided to check out Cats Socialhouse at Granville on Friday night. We read about it many times from the Vancouver Arts Club program when we watch plays at Arts Club Theatre. Cats Socialhouse is located around the corner besides the Toy Store. The burger quality is definitely caught me by surprise! Cats Socialhouse has a wide selections of their unique two handed burgers.
Bellini @ $5
Delicious!
Caesar @ $6
Caesar @ $6
It was good but the size was too small for hubby. LOL.
The taste was okay but not outstanding compared with other restaurants. It was a fusion starter, the fresh tuna on top of the pressed rice and it looked like sushi, but it was not. Somehow I did not like the sauce.
Havarti cheese, special sauce, smoked bacon
Burgers and fries, the best combination pub food!
We ordered their signature pub burger to share. The beef burgers are house made and hand-pressed. The beef patty was delicious and juicy topped with the smoked bacon.
The bun was good too. The yam fries were delicious; Hot, crispy, and thick!
As I usually recalling in my reviews, I pay a lot of attention to the restaurant atmosphere too besides the taste of the food quality. In this restaurant, the environment was comfortable and spacious in between tables here. The staff were very friendly and nice. Wonder why they were not busy at all on a Friday night? Since we were not hungry, we only ordered 1 burger combo and 1 starter. We were thinking to come back for happy hour or Saturday brunch next time, and will explore more different dishes in order to review the food rating again to Cats Socialhouse!
