604 Just Eat: Pacific Northwest Cuisine @ The Teahouse

Apr. 18th, 2015

The Teahouse @ Stanley Park

Food:  4/5   Service:  4/5   Atmosphere:  4.5/5   Price:  Avg. $35/person

Teahouse is located in Stanley Park by the Third Beach.  Beautiful and stunning view of the oceans.  If you come for dinner, the view is exactly where the sunset is.  The view is totally breathtaking and romantic.
We haven't been to Teahouse for few years already.  We picked to come again for lunch before heading to our road trip for the wedding anniversary celebration!  Plus, my boss at my previous work in Hong Kong was in town for business.  I chose to bring her to teahouse to enjoy the wonderful natural environment of Stanley park and lovely weather besides the food before leaving to airport.
Must Eat:  Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms, Salmon Flatbread and Mussels
Cute and romantic house with the beautiful patio and garden.

Classic wooden interior décor; fabulous setting!

Teahouse Stuffed Mushrooms @ $12
Heard the stuffed mushroom is famous here.  Now I know why!  The stuffed mushroom was impressively delicious with great texture.  Stuffed with crab meat, shrimp and cream cheese, it was so flavorful, rich and buttery.  Thumbs up!

 Lobster Bisque @ $10
Smooth and creamy.  Tasty!

 Mussels @ $16
Giant fresh mussels bathing in the delectable tomato broth.  Great taste!

p
Prawn Cocktail @ $17
Giant fresh prawns with the refreshing cocktail sauce.

Salmon Flatbread @ $16
My favorite and must eat item on the menu; fresh and delicious!

  Frites @ $6
Good combo to eat with the mussels broth.

I was excited to be back again not just the food but the sweet and lovely environment with the amazing sea view.  Nothing to complain about.  Simple and fresh ingredients.  Overall the food quality was very good and service was great too.  Our server was lovely and attentive.  Price is reasonable with the good dishes and incredibly environment and location.
